- (a) Medical services means advice and services given to eligible persons desiring medical family-planning services under the medical assistance program from resources of their choice, including licensed family-planning centers, clinics or private physicians.
- (b) Medical family-planning services shall include diagnosis, treatment, drugs, supplies, and related counseling which are furnished or prescribed by or under the supervision of a physician.
Upon oral or written request, medical services shall be provided promptly, within 30 days of the request, to eligible persons.
