(a) Definition.
Homemaker service is a specialized service which complements the casework service of the agency and which is provided on the recommendation and approval of appropriate social service staff to families and individuals in their own homes for the purpose of maintaining normal household operations during periods of stress or crisis, or for the purpose of teaching homemaking skills and management to a mother in order to strengthen family life.
(b) Scope.
