(a) Changes to the ADM curriculum or internal controls shall not be made by the sponsor without prior approval of the department.

1. (1) A sponsor that wishes to change their course must request such change in writing. A request must include:

   1. (i) Reason for the change.
   2. (ii) Complete description of the change.
   3. (iii) The impact of the change on the 320 minute course requirement, on the content of the section in which it is placed, and on the overall course.
   4. (iv) The impact of the change on course delivery, security and validation.
2. (2) The department will review the change to determine if it is warranted. Changes impacting timeframes, delivery method and security must be tested prior to approval. Changes may be implemented immediately upon approval.
3. (3) Implementing any change without prior written approval from the department shall be grounds for suspension of approval to deliver the ADM course or of sponsoring agency approval.
4. (4) The department may request additional information relating to proposed changes described in this section.

5. (5) The department may periodically require that updates to the course curriculum be made by the sponsor, particularly in relation to changes in law, statistics and traffic safety trends.

   1. (i) Sponsors are encouraged to update their course curriculum on an annual basis to include the latest laws, statistics and traffic safety trends.
