Schedule of inspection.
Department of Motor Vehicles
(a) Every motor vehicle and trailer registered in this State is required to be inspected prior to midnight on the last day of the month punched, of the indicated year, on the current inspection certificate. Upon the casual (non-dealer) sale or transfer of a motor vehicle, any certificate of inspection issued prior to the date of the sale or transfer shall be deemed invalid. Every motor vehicle and trailer must be inspected upon change of registrant.
