- (a) Facility shall mean a hospital, school, or alcoholism facility, as such terms are defined in the Mental Hygiene Law, for the inpatient care and treatment of the mentally ill, the mentally retarded, or the alcoholic.
- (b) Private facility shall mean a facility which requires an operating certificate from the Commissioner of Mental Hygiene.
- (c) Patient shall mean a person receiving services in a facility. It includes a resident in a school.
For the purpose of this Part, the following terms shall have the designated meaning:
