Fifty-two consecutive weeks shall be computed retroactively with respect to each day for which benefits are currently being claimed. In no case shall a single claim for periodic family leave cover more than 52 weeks, an employee with an eligible periodic claim must submit a new claim at the end of the 52 week period.
