Return of fish, crustacea and other animals to the water
1. If any fish or crustacea are unintentionally taken contrary to any provisions of the Fish and Wildlife Law, they shall be returned to the water at once, without unnecessary injury.
2. Starfish, drills (Urosalpinx cinerea), periwinkle (Litorinia) and drum fish (Pogonias chromis) when taken shall not be returned alive to the waters of the state.
