Nev. Rev. Stat. § 641D.210 – Required orientation for new members of Board; policies concerning compensation and performance review of staff

The Board shall:

1. Require each new member of the Board to complete orientation within 60 days after his or her appointment to the Board. Such orientation must include, without limitation, instruction concerning:
1. (a) The purpose of the Board and the duties of its members;
2. (b) Any applicable laws and regulations, including, without limitation, the provisions of NRS 641D.700 to 641D.880, inclusive, and the importance of complying with applicable laws and regulations in a timely manner; and
3. (c) Any requirements relating to managing the finances of the Board.
2. Establish policies relating to compensation and reviewing the performance of the staff of the Board.
