Nev. Rev. Stat. § 641C.600 – Inquiry into and documentation of veteran status of new adult clients; provision of contact information for Department of Veterans Services

1. An alcohol and drug counselor, clinical alcohol and drug counselor or problem gambling counselor may:
1. (a) Ask each new client who is 18 years of age or older if he or she is a veteran and document the response in the record of the client; and
2. (b) Provide the contact information for the Department of Veterans Services to any such client who indicates that he or she is a veteran.
2. As used in this section, “veteran” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 417.125.
