Nev. Rev. Stat. § 633.4718 – Renewal of license as physician assistant: Requirements for application for simultaneous license to practice as physician assistant issued by Board of Medical Examiners

1. A person applying to renew a license to practice as a physician assistant pursuant to the provisions of this chapter who wishes to hold a simultaneous license to practice as a physician assistant pursuant to the provisions of chapter 630 of NRS must:
1. (a) Indicate in the application that he or she wishes to hold a simultaneous license to practice as a physician assistant pursuant to the provisions of chapter 630 of NRS;
2. (b) Apply:
  1. (1) To renew a license to practice as a physician assistant to the Board pursuant to this chapter; and
  2. (2) For a license to practice as a physician assistant to the Board of Medical Examiners pursuant to chapter 630 of NRS; and
3. (c) Pay all applicable fees, including, without limitation:
  1. (1) The biennial simultaneous license renewal fee for a physician assistant established pursuant to NRS 633.501; and
  2. (2) The fee for application for and issuance of a simultaneous license as a physician assistant established pursuant to NRS 630.268.
2. If an applicant to renew a license to practice as a physician assistant pursuant to the provisions of this chapter indicates that he or she wishes to hold a simultaneous license to practice as a physician assistant pursuant to the provisions of chapter 630 of NRS and pays the biennial simultaneous license renewal fee for a physician assistant established pursuant to NRS 633.501 but does not pay the fee for application for and issuance of a simultaneous license as a physician assistant established pursuant to NRS 630.268 within 1 year after the renewal of his or her license pursuant to this chapter:
1. (a) The State Board of Osteopathic Medicine shall notify the physician assistant that he or she is required to pay to the Board the difference between:
  1. (1) The biennial license renewal fee for a physician assistant established pursuant to NRS 633.501; and
  2. (2) The biennial simultaneous license renewal fee for a physician assistant established pursuant to NRS 633.501; and
2. (b) The physician assistant shall pay to the State Board of Osteopathic Medicine the amount required by paragraph (a) not later than 30 days after the date of the notice provided pursuant to paragraph (a).
