It is unlawful for any person within this state:

1. 1. To detach, alter, deface or destroy any label provided for in NRS 587.015 to 587.123, inclusive, or in the rules and regulations adopted pursuant thereto.
2. 2. To alter or substitute seed contrary to the provisions of NRS 587.015 to 587.123, inclusive, or the rules and regulations adopted pursuant thereto.
3. 3. To disseminate any false or misleading advertisements concerning seeds subject to NRS 587.015 to 587.123, inclusive.
4. 4. To hinder or obstruct in any way any authorized person in the performance of duties under NRS 587.015 to 587.123, inclusive.
5. 5. To violate a stop-sale order.
6. 6. To use the word “trace” as a substitute for any statement which is required on a label.
7. 7. To use the word “type” in any labeling in connection with the name of any agricultural seed variety.
