1. 1. “Pet” means an animal that is kept by a person primarily for personal enjoyment.

2. 2. The term does not include an animal that is kept by a person primarily for:

   1. (a) Hunting;
   2. (b) Use in connection with farming or agriculture;
   3. (c) Breeding;
   4. (d) Drawing heavy loads; or
   5. (e) Use as a service animal or a service animal in training, as those terms are defined in NRS 426.097 and 426.099, respectively.
