Nev. Rev. Stat. § 449B.460 – Duty upon discharge of patient from hospital to ensure dietary needs are met

If a patient is released by a hospital to his or her residence to receive care from an agency to provide personal care services in the home, the agency to provide personal care services in the home shall consult with a dietitian, as appropriate, to ensure that the patient or the person with primary responsibility for the care of the patient understands the dietary needs of the patient.
