Nev. Rev. Stat. § 425.300

“Dependent child” defined

Effective Oct 1, 1989(Added to NRS by 1977, 720; A 1989, 1642)

“Dependent child” means any person, who is not otherwise emancipated, self-supporting or a member of the Armed Forces of the United States, who is:

1. Under the age of 18 years; or
2. Under 19 years of age and who is a student in high school.
