- 1. The board of county highway commissioners shall fix the salary of the county road supervisor.
- 2. The board of county highway commissioners may allow the actual traveling expenses of the county road supervisor, and may provide a means of conveyance for the county road supervisor when traveling in the actual performance of his or her duties.
- 3. The salary and expenses shall be paid from the county treasury in the manner provided for payment of county officers.
