Except as otherwise provided in NRS 388C.120, American history, including, without limitation, the history of the:

1. 1. Constitution of the United States, including, without limitation, the Bill of Rights;
2. 2. State of Nevada, including, without limitation, the Constitution of the State of Nevada; and

3. 3. Declaration of Independence,

   must be taught in all of the public schools in the State of Nevada for a period of at least 1 year.
