Membership of an employee in the System terminates upon:

1. 1. The death of a member.
2. 2. The withdrawal of contributions from a member’s account.
3. 3. Receipt of retirement allowances by a member.

4. 4. Receipt of disability allowances by a member.

   A retired employee is not entitled to any right conferred by this chapter upon a member unless the provision conferring that right expressly states that it is conferred upon a retired employee.
