1. 1. Except during a regular or special session, for each day or portion of a day during which a member of the Legislative Commission or the Audit Subcommittee attends a meeting or is otherwise engaged in the official business of the Legislative Counsel Bureau, the member is entitled to receive:

   1. (a) The compensation provided for a majority of the Legislators during the first 60 days of the preceding regular session;
   2. (b) The per diem allowance provided for state officers and employees generally; and
   3. (c) The travel expenses provided pursuant to NRS 218A.655.

2. 2. An alternate member of the Legislative Commission who:

   1. (a) Replaces a regular member at a meeting of the Legislative Commission or on official business of the Legislative Counsel Bureau is entitled to receive the same compensation, per diem allowances and travel expenses as a regular member for the same service.
   2. (b) Attends a meeting of the Legislative Commission but does not replace a regular member is entitled to the travel expenses provided pursuant to NRS 218A.655.
3. 3. All such compensation, per diem allowances and travel expenses must be paid from the Legislative Fund.
