1. 1. “Committee” means:

   1. (a) Any committee of either House;
   2. (b) Any joint committee of both Houses; or
   3. (c) Any other committee or commission created or authorized by the Legislature to conduct or perform legislative business at the direction of or on behalf of the Legislature.
2. 2. The term includes, without limitation, a subcommittee.
