Nev. Rev. Stat. § 211.115 – Appointment of administrator

In a county in which a metropolitan police department is established, the governing body of any participating city may:

1. Establish a department of detention and may appoint a person to administer the detention facilities; or
2. Appoint a person to administer its jail.
