Nev. Rev. Stat. § 178A.090 – “Law enforcement official” defined

1. “Law enforcement official” means:
1. (a) Any person employed by a law enforcement agency; or
2. (b) Any person employed by a public school, private school or institution of higher education whose primary duty is to enforce the law.
2. For purposes of this section:
1. (a) “Institution of higher education” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 179D.045.
2. (b) “Private school” means a nonprofit private elementary or secondary educational institution that is licensed in this State.
3. (c) “Public school” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 388.127.
