As used in NRS 178.569 to 178.5698, inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires:

1. 1. “Relative” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 217.060.

2. 2. “Victim of a crime” or “victim” includes a relative of a person:

   1. (a) Against whom a crime has been committed; or
   2. (b) Who has been injured or killed as a direct result of the commission of a crime.
