Nev. Rev. Stat. § 175.541
Discharge of defendant after acquittal
Effective Oct 1, 1967(Added to NRS by 1967, 1432)
If judgment of acquittal be given on a verdict, and the defendant be not detained for any other legal cause, the defendant must be discharged as soon as the verdict is given.
