As used in the Watershed District Act:

1. A. "directors" or "board of directors" means the directors of a watershed district; and
2. B. "supervisors" or "board of supervisors" means the supervisors of a soil and water conservation district in which the watershed district is located.

ANNOTATIONS

The 2026 amendment, effective May 20, 2026, amended certain definitions as used in the Watershed District Act; in Subsection A, after "directors" added "or board of directors"; deleted former Subsection B, which defined "minority jurisdiction district" and redesignated former Subsection C as Subsection B; and in Subsection B, after "supervisors," added "or board of supervisors".

The 2025 amendment, effective July 1, 2025, defined the term "minority jurisdiction district" as used in the Watershed District Act; added a new Subsection B and redesignated former Subsection B as Subsection C.
