N.M. Stat. Ann. § 62-19-24
By May 1 of each year, the commission shall report to the legislature and the governor regarding its activities for the previous year in sufficient detail to disclose the workings of the commission and the impact of regulation on the industries regulated by the commission. The report shall include information on consumer complaints and their status. The report may include suggestions and recommended changes in law, as the commission deems appropriate, that would be in the public interest.

Recompilations. — Laws 2020, ch. 9, § 59 recompiled former 8-8-20 NMSA 1978 as 62-19-24 NMSA 1978, effective January 1, 2023.
The 2026 amendment, effective May 20, 2026, required the commission's annual report to the legislature and the governor include information on consumer complaints and their status, and changed the date the annual reports are due; after "By" changed "December" to "May", and after "regulated by the commission", added "The report shall include information on consumer complaints and their status".
