The board shall:

1. A. approve or establish appropriate courses of study within and without the state to enable applicants for licensure to attain the requisite professional skill to qualify them to sit for the examination for licensure; and
2. B. approve or establish appropriate courses of study to further the professional qualifications of licensees through continuing educational programs.

The 1993 amendment, effective June 18, 1993, deleted "Provisional license" from the beginning of the section heading; deleted former Subsection A, which provided for the issuance of a provisional license, expiring June 20, 1972, to certain applicants; and rewrote former Subsection B as present Subsection A, renumbering former Subsection C as present Subsection B.
