As used in Chapter 6, Article 17 NMSA 1978, "state educational institution" means the following:

1. A. the university of New Mexico;
2. B. the New Mexico state university;
3. C. the New Mexico highlands university;
4. D. the western New Mexico university;
5. E. the eastern New Mexico university;
6. F. the New Mexico institute of mining and technology;
7. G. the northern New Mexico state school;
8. H. the New Mexico military institute;
9. I. the New Mexico school for the deaf;
10. J. the New Mexico school for the visually handicapped;
11. K. the San Juan college;
12. L. the New Mexico junior college;
13. M. the Santa Fe community college; and
14. N. any post-secondary technical, vocational and area vocational institutes as defined in Sections 21-16-2 and 21-17-2 [repealed] NMSA 1978.
