Registered office and registered agent

An association shall have and continuously maintain in New Mexico:

  1. A. a registered office, which may be the same as its principal office; and
  2. B. a registered agent that may be:

    1. (1) an individual resident in the state whose business office is identical with the registered office of the association;
    2. (2) a for-profit or not-for-profit domestic corporation having an office identical with the registered office of the association; or
    3. (3) a for-profit or not-for-profit foreign corporation authorized to transact business or conduct affairs in New Mexico and having an office identical with the registered office of the corporation.
