N.M. Stat. Ann. § 35-1-33
There shall be one magistrate in Torrance magistrate district whose principal court is in Moriarty.

The 2025 amendment, effective June 20, 2025, removed language requiring the magistrate in Torrance magistrate district to ride circuit to Estancia on a regular basis; after "Moriarty" deleted "The magistrate shall ride circuit to Estancia on a regularly scheduled basis".
