Compiler's notes. — The 1915 Code compilers deleted "who shall hold his office for two years, and until his successor be appointed and qualified" at the end.
The 2023 amendment, effective July 1, 2023, provided that each county is a probate court district; and in Subsection A, after "each county of this state", added "and each county is a probate court district".
