Beginning September 1, 2026 and annually thereafter, the department shall submit a report to the legislative health and human services committee that includes:

1. A. the number of children in its custody who receive federal benefits;
2. B. the type of federal benefits;
3. C. the manner in which those benefits are conserved; and
4. D. the amounts of federal benefits used and conserved.

ANNOTATIONS

Effective dates. — Laws 2025, ch. 12 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 20, 2025, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
