N.M. Stat. Ann. § 32A-29-2
As used in the Federal Benefits for Children in State Custody Act, "Representative Payee" means a person appointed by a federal agency to manage the benefits the federal agency provides to a child.

Effective dates. — Laws 2025, ch. 12 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 20, 2025, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
