1. A. The governing body may appoint a park commission. One commissioner shall serve a one-year term, one commissioner shall serve a two-year term and one commissioner shall serve a three-year term so that after the initial appointments, one commissioner shall be appointed each year for a three-year term. The first three commissioners shall determine by lot their respective terms. Each commissioner shall be a resident of the municipality.
2. B. The governing body may remove any park commissioner for cause and may fill any vacancy on the park commission for the balance of the unexpired term.
