1. A. Utility assistance supplements shall be paid to or on behalf of those persons who are determined to be eligible by rule of the authority.
2. B. The authority shall determine the amount of payment to be made; provided that no payment shall be made if a payment for the same services or incurred bills has been made to the household under a federal program for a similar purpose.

ANNOTATIONS

The 2024 amendment, effective July 1, 2024, replaced the human services department with the health care authority in determining eligibility for utility assistance supplements; and substituted each occurrence of "department" with "authority".
