1. A. The department shall administer the estate recovery program.
2. B. The department shall adopt and promulgate rules and regulations to implement the provisions of the Medicaid Estate Recovery Act.
3. C. The department may compromise, settle or waive recovery pursuant to the Medicaid Estate Recovery Act when deemed by the department to be in the best interests of the state.
