N.M. Stat. Ann. § 25-6-12
D. The annual license fee for each type of dealer is:
(1) small dealer $10.00 (2) medium dealer $25.00 (3) large dealer $50.00;
provided that the board may index the amount of a fee for inflation until July 1, 2031 using the consumer price index for all urban consumers: all items published by the United States department of labor.

The 2026 amendment, effective July 1, 2026, authorized the board of regents of New Mexico state university to impose increases to the license fees up to the rate of inflation measured in the consumer price index for all urban consumers through the end of fiscal year 2031, and made certain technical amendments; in Subsection A, after "person" deleted "firm or corporation who" and added "that"; in Subsection B, after "A" deleted "medium-sized" and added "medium", after "person" deleted "firm or corporation who" and added "that", after "traffics in" deleted "over" and added "more than", and after "cases and" deleted "less" and added "fewer"; in Subsection C, after "person" deleted "firm or corporation who" and added "that", after "sells or traffics in" deleted "over" and added "more than" and after "four hundred cases" added "of eggs"; in Subsection D, in the introductory clause, deleted "fees" and added "license fee", in Paragraph D(1) added "dealer" after "small", in Paragraph D(2), added "dealer" after "medium", in Paragraph D(3), added "dealer" after "large", and after the semicolon, added the remainder of the paragraph; and in Subsection F, after "inspectors for cause", deleted "All licenses issued prior to the effective date of the Egg Grading Act shall expire when the act becomes effective and thereafter".
