The following violations shall constitute a misdemeanor:

1. A. illegal possession or transportation of big game during closed season;
2. B. taking or attempting to take big game during closed season;
3. C. taking or attempting to take big game by the use of spotlight or artificial light;
4. D. selling or attempting to sell big game or parts thereof, except as permitted by regulation of the state game commission [state wildlife commission]; and
5. E. exceeding the bag limit on any big game species during open season.
