As used in the State Trails System Act:

1. A. "local government" means any county, municipality or other political subdivision of the state and includes rural communities and unincorporated towns or villages in the state; and
2. B. "secretary" means the secretary of energy, minerals and natural resources.

ANNOTATIONS

The 1987 amendment, effective July 1, 1987, deleted former Subsections A and B, which defined "division" and "director," respectively; redesignated former Subsection C as present Subsection A; and added Subsection B.
