The 2025 amendment, effective July 1, 2025, provided that voters may vote in a presidential primary election on the ballot of only one of the parties participating in the primary election; in the section heading, added "Voting in" preceding "presidential primary"; and added Subsection B.
The 2003 amendment, effective June 20, 2003, inserted "in either a presidential primary election or in accordance with the selection procedure for presidential candidates of each voter's party" following "candidate of their party" at the end of the first sentence.
