N.M. Stat. Ann. § 1-1-28
As used in the Election Code, "real-time synchronization" means that the internet connection at a voting location is able to synchronize voting data with the office of the county clerk in real time.

Effective dates. — Laws 2023, ch. 39 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 16, 2023, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
