Appointment of Guardian Ad Litem (Gal) or Child’s Attorney

PSD shall request that a GAL be appointed to represent and protect the best interests of the child in a abuse or neglect proceeding when the child is less than 14 years old. PSD shall request that an attorney be appointed to represent the child 14 years of age or older.
