All facilities licensed pursuant to these regulations must have written policies and procedures for the following:

1. A. Reporting of suspected child abuse, neglect or exploitation, pursuant to these regulations.
2. B. Actions to be taken in case of accidents or emergencies involving a child, including death.
3. C. Disciplinary methods utilized by the facility.
4. D. Actions to be taken when a child is found to be absent without authorization.
5. E. The administration and preparation of medication.
6. F. The handling of children’s funds.
7. G. Confidentiality of the children’s records.
8. H. The use of seclusion rooms and/or restraints, if used by the facility.
9. I. Maintenance of building(s) and equipment.
10. J. Fire and evacuation.
11. K. The handling of complaints received from clients, parents, guardians or any other person.
