The objective of this rule is to establish standards and administer a statewide vaccine purchasing program to:

1. A. expand access to childhood immunizations recommended by the advisory committee on immunization practices;
2. B. maintain and improve immunization rates;
3. C. facilitate the acquisition by providers of vaccines for childhood immunizations recommended by the advisory committee on immunization practices; and
4. D. leverage public and private funding and resources for the purchase, storage, and distribution of vaccines for childhood immunizations recommended by the advisory committee on immunization practices.
