FLEET SERVICE CONTRACT

1. A. The local board may contract with a person who owns one or more buses and who hires drivers to drive the bus. Such a person is considered self-employed and shall be contracted as a fleet operator.

2. B. The local board shall negotiate fleet service contracts consistent with the provisions of state law and public education department rules.
