The purposes of dual credit are:

1. A. to provide high school students the opportunity to enroll in college-level academic or career-technical courses offered by a post-secondary educational institution, and
2. B. to permit those enrolled students to simultaneously earn credit toward high school graduation and a post-secondary degree or certificate.
