DEFINITIONS

1. A. "Council" means a regional education coordinating council.
2. B. "Cooperative" means a regional education cooperative as authorized by the secretary pursuant to this rule.
3. C. "IDEA-Part B" means Part B of the Education of the Handicapped Act of 1975, amended and redesignated as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
4. D. "Local school board" means the governing body of a school district.
5. E. “Department” means the public education department.
6. F. “Secretary” means the secretary of public education.

7. G. “‘State agency’ or ‘state institution”’ means an entity enumerated in Section 22-1-2(X) NMSA 1978.
