Appropriate fiscal and program records must be maintained. If federal funds are a source of grant funds, record retention must meet federal requirements.

1. A. Grant funds must be accounted for separately from other sources of funds.
2. B. The monitoring and evaluation of projects will be done by New Mexico state library staff.
3. C. Report requirements may vary and can be specified in any agreement or contract.

4. D. Legal agreements will be required and must be signed by representatives of all participating libraries and the state librarian.
