1. A. Secondary treatment systems shall produce an effluent that meets the following requirements:

   (1) 5-day biochemical oxygen demand of 30 mg/l; and

   (2) total suspended solids of 30 mg/l.

2. B. Secondary treatment systems may be installed to overcome site conditions set forth in 20.7.3.605 NMAC.
3. C. The secondary treatment unit shall be operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and department approval conditions.
