1. A. Programmatic accreditation. To be recognized by the board, an educational program accreditation agency must:

   1. (1) be recognized by the USDE or CHEA; and
   2. (2) provide programmatic accreditation for the medical imaging or radiation therapy modality offered by the educational program.

2. B. Recognized programmatic accreditation organizations. Medical imaging or radiation therapy programmatic accreditation agencies recognized by the board include:

   1. (1) CAAHEP;
   2. (2) JRCERT; and
   3. (3) JRCNMT.
