Internal or external combustion engines shall be equipped with a properly installed, maintained and functioning spark arrestor meeting either the:

1. A. United States department of agriculture, forest service standard 5100 (as amended); or
2. B. appropriate society of automotive engineers recommended practice J335(b) or J350(a).
